i have recently changed to windows vista premium and am currently adding all my old programs to it .
i have installed svcd2dvd v2.5.3600 fine and it works ok and creates dvds fine but whenever i open a folder that contains an avi that has been converted to a s2d file i get the following error :
windows host program (rundll32) has encountered a problem and needs to close
after that it checks for solutions , but if the folder with the s2d file in is open that message will continuosly pop up.
this means that i cannot batch create files for creation later
anybody have any idea what is a matter ?
    i am running vista premium
    core2quad 2.6
    4gb ram
    500gb hdd
i dont believe that this setup should have any trouble at all
the prog was not installed in the programs folder either
    any help would be appreciated
    thanks
    rich

i suspect vista is trying to make a thumbnail preview and failing.... Can you play the mpeg in WMP?

I had the same problem. It is cause by the search engine from the Nero. You have to uninstall that part of nero.

Or google on the error and see what you type in.
