What format do you want to capture to? And do you want HDTV capture? HDTV may be one reason there aren't too many new ones out there as the SD ones will be mostly obsolete shortly, at least in this country.

I still like the Hauppauge MPEG-2 cards at present.

    Ditto.
I'm a new owner of an old PVR-350 and it's REALLY nice.

3 + years on my Hauppauge and I still haven't found reason to change. Seems like good stuff to me.

HD as in HD DV? You don't need a capture card for this. Capture cards are for analog video. You transfer the digital video from a DV cam using Firewire.

I'm a very satisfied owner of a Hauppauge PVR-350 card. The 150 card is hit or miss. It works great for some people. For others, it doesn't work at all. Nobody seems to know why. It's just some random thing about your PC hardware. I generally don't recommend the PVR-150 unless people know going in that they may have big problems with it and are willing to take that chance. Unless you simply must have AVI recording (the 150 supports this and the 250/350 do not because of different chipsets on the card), I generally recommend the 250 or 350 Hauppauge cards.

I have Kworld PVR-TV 7131. This works fine.
It has Composite & S-Video inputs along with analog NTSC TV tuner.
It has Philips chip on board for realtime mpeg 1/2/4 conversion.

I got it for $5 after mail in rebate 2 years back.
