I have a Optiarc 5170A installed on a XP machine.
I use Deepburner free for burning,
I want to write an audio CD with no gaps so I know I have to use disc at once.
deep burner says 'this drive is not able to write in DAO' the review on the drive says it can.

I downloaded burnatonce and that wont let me write disc at once either.

The drive writes everything else with no problems, convertxtodvd and writing data files are fine, normal audio cd with track gaps are fine, so if you have an idea how i can make this drive write in DAO i would be very grateful

Assuming the drive is properly being recognized, I suspect you are having burning software issues (I've never heard of nor used either of those).

You may also want to ensure the drive has the latest firmware, but that shouldn't be necessary as the drive specs say it supports DAO: http://www.sonynec-optiarc.eu/en/exhibits/hh-drives/ad-5170a.html
