    I have this project im working on - but the source disk was pretty bad and i had to go thought a whole bunch of hoops to get anyhting - but i cant burn it with nero 7, i downloaded dvdrebuilder and see that only VTS_02 is listed - and get a "missing vts_1" message -- ive never had to do somethign as complcated as this - but is there a way to fool the tool or edit the image so that i can burn this to a disk? i tried also downloadign vobedit v.06 but havent had much luck am hoping someone can assist


    the files of my proj are as follows:

    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VTS_01_0.IFO
    VTS_01_0.VOB
    VTS_02_0.BUP
    VTS_02_0.IFO
    VTS_02_1.VOB

    Here are some options for you. None of them are optimal but ...

    Do you know what is in VTS_01? and whether it is important for what you are trying?

    You can use VOB2MPG to convert the VOBs you do have back to mpg file then reauthor with what you have left. Of course it will be missing the video and audio from VTS_01 and will lose a bit of quality along the way but not to much.

    Referring to question 2 above, if VTS_01 is important, you may have to go back to the disc and play some more trying to recover those files. Of course, you could go back to the originator of the disc and see if re-creating is an option. But I am sure you already thought of that.

    Lastly, as already mentioned there are other recovery tools and steps available. But that is back to the playing with the damaged disc.

    Load the VOBs you have in NeroVision and see what you have. You can merge them if you like. With a little luck Nero won't re-encode and you can then save/burn what you have.
