You can overburn a cd-r and get a few more mb per disc so can you do the same with dvd-r?
Like putting 5gb on a 4.7gb by overburning?
Is this flawed?

No David, it's not flawed.
If you are burning with Prassi, there is an option in the settings for overburning and even to what % you want to overburn.
I haven't done it nor will I ever simply because I don't want to risk an error in data reading. Not after all the hardwork I put into making the image.
Choice as always is yours. 8) -
Ok thanks. Just wondering if its possible. Wouldn't want to waste 5 pounds wasting a dvd-r disc to find out through.
