    SO -

I write out of desperation. I have an odd request - I need video to play in a Shit digital picture frame made by Jessop's (English brand) - This is the 4th one of these that Ive bought, all different makes and models, all say that they support video, whether it be MP4, MPEG 1/2, or my latest issue AVI - For the first time I've gotten this machine to play an AVI, but not the one I want it to play. I took a sample from a download of a film I had to run it against the AVI I Need to play to see if one plays. The one I dont want works, the one I do doesnt.

Im guessing this is because I've converted it. I've done this with a number of different converters, but as I understand I may need to re-encode the file. Something which I know f%$k all about. I'm familiar with code, but never tackled video. I've used Imediahud to get the specs, which are obviously different in a number of ways - I'll attach both images, so you can see the discrepancies, of which there are many.

The image titled sample works, the one titled BV does not.

I'd be extremely grateful if someone could get it working for me. Attached is also the actual MP4 that I need encoded in the same format as the sample.avi

    Thanks very much in advance.
