Encoding ( hardsubbing) doesnt work with ffdshow

Hi guys, I wanted to try encoding HQ clips and since ffhshow seems to be the perfect solution for HQs, I tried ffdshow too, but anyhow it doesnt work for me
Everytime I try, there's an error message.
I use Virtualdub. DivX Decoder works perfectly for me, only ffdshow is still a big problem

Why not use koepis xvid codec instead? Install it and you can select it under compressions.

Hmm becuz I want to use size filter and it doesnt work with DivX
And someone told me that encoding with ffdshow will give a better effect ( same size but better quality ??? )
