I put a VOB file in to VD and ajusted the settings I wanted, like resizing, brightness and deinterlacing filter. When I try to save it, it says "Cannot start video compression. An unknown error occured(may be corrupt data). Error code -100"
How can I fix this please?

Many ways to do that, eg, ReJig.
2) Then load the M2V in DGIndex. Save the "project" as a d2v file (eg, video.d2v).
3) Now make an AVS file starting with
MPEG2Source("video.d2v")
4) Load the AVS in VDub;
or continue to load Avisynth filters.
