Hello, I just finished ripping my first DVD ever. Shrek. I ripped the entire DVD and the picture and everything is excellent. The only problem I'm having is that when I examine the VOB files in Windows Media PLayer, I'm getting a clear and beautiful picture but no audio. Is there some reason for this?
Just to let you know, I ripped the movie without even having the required harddrive space. But it ripped anyway, which I'm surprised to see. But would the lack of HD space have anything to do with the fact that I have no audio in my clips? Thanx a bunch for your replies.

Sounds a bit weird that you can rip even though you don't have the space for it, as for WMP it does not support DVD Playback, you need to use a DVD player to play VOB's, cause they know how to access the Audio Tracks in the VOB files (remember VOB contains ALL the Audio Tracks and Languages!).
