Russian doll effect of dvd file

Not sure what to make of this. Video title on my Hdd, when I open normally, I have the AUDIO_TS and the VIDEO_TS folders right ? Yesterday, instead of VIDEO_TS I had a folder with the movie's title, inside that the same , inside that again the same, ie title-title-title-title-title-title and so on and about thirty openings later the VIDEO_TS. I had this once before, but cannot figure out how this state became so . Anyone else had this, or know how this happens ??

Happened to me once. Had a piece of a toothpick stuck under the control key. Seems the move command I was making repeated 'til I reached the max subfolder limit. Sounds simple but took me half an hour later that day to figure it out.
Note to self:- No leftover party snacks @ 3:00am whilst playing with the keyboard.
