hi
I have several music videos.. all with the same properties.. as for audio and video
and I want to make a compilation of the best ones..
I have all the videos in diferent folders, with the audio and video demuxed
I can author a DVD with DVD-lab.. but with all the videos as diferent movies (sets), in the same VTS. conecctiong.. each video to the next one. in the conecctions section..
but If I do that, I cant skip from one video to the next one, I have to wait untill the video its over, and it automatically goes to the next one..and thats my problem
how can I author a dvd with multiple videos, that I can skip to the next one.. without have to wait for the video to finish?..
I think I have to make just one big video and audio file.. joining all the ones I have.. and then set the chapters
apropiately (if thats a word..)... but I dont know how to join the videos and audio files too.. they are m2v and LPCM files..
Thanks in advance..

Look up Multi-PGC objects in the help file. Basically, it is like a movie object, but with multiple titles inside it. The catch is that you can only have chapter points at the start of each title, which in oyur case is exactly what you want.

wow.. thanks.. that worked greatĦĦ.. I can go forward and backwards with no problem
I already had found a solution.. not elegant but it worked..I took an already authored DVD in the way I wanted it.. and was replacing the videos with vobblanker.... lol..
but I think I will go with your way from now on -
Multi-PGC title has one small problem:
it is built by free linking and if the chapters are not sequential parts of the video stream, it will take some time on a physical DVD to navigate chapter to chapter. Also the timecode shown will begin from 0 for each chapter. If this is not acceptable, then joining files before authoring (or VobBlanker/DVDRemake way in case of editing) is better.
