I've been encoding for a while using tmpeg encoder & a couple different templetes. My question is, is there a significant quality difference between encoding a vcd using the highest quality setting, and the high quality? I know it takes hours longer, but besides that, I don't see and major difference. I guess my real question is what do most of you that use tmpegenc set the quality setting at?
Also, at whats the quality of the motion search setting?
I'm interested in finding out because I see a lot of films being swapped, downloaded, distributed, and I'd like to make sure that the quality I encode at is par. Thanks much.
