can anyone tell why it is that,
    With my DVD-Recorder,

(Well firstly everyone knows that when you burn something, As well as on a PC-Dvd burner, that it makes an Air & blowing type sound)

    On my dvd-recoder,
when i'd burn it would start off doing the blowing-sound, But also it would make a Grinding noise,
and when it had finished burning to the disk Or finished burning the title (Not Finalizing the disk) The disk would make like a squeeling noise,

But recently it just stopped doing it ???

The 'blowing' sound is probably the burner spinning up the disc to operating speed. Some burners are louder than others for that.

'Grinding' noises? could be the drive 'seeking' where the laser assembly is being positioned across the span of the DVD. A lot of that means it's having a hard time finding the 'groove' or track on the DVD. If that happens continually, your drive may be having problems reading or writing to the media.

The 'squealing' noise doesn't sound good, maybe a problem with the drive, or the disc spinning up to speed. If the disc is slipping and not held properly to spin up to speed, that could be a drive ready to die.

But I suspect, if the unit is making proper DVDs, it's all just noise.

    i've got a LG-DVDPLAYER,
and when it plays 'home-made DVD's, it makes like a Snapping-noise.. like the disk is snapping,

but the disks are okay, when you take them out!

    `anyone know why this is?

There are a lot of moving parts in a DVD assembly. Some of them are lubed differently, some of them a just made different. Different noises. Playstations are among the worst, when it comes to noise. JVC and Toshiba are among the quietest, in my experience.
