LG 298h DVX subtitles problem

u can connect this dvd player with usb

i have on usb a HEROES episode with its subtitle

the movie loads normally but i cannot load the subtitle

when i push the subtitle nutton just shows me OFF and cant chose or load it

any ideas what need to do?

What kind of subtitles? srt? sub/idx? Is it a separate file named same as the video like video.avi and video.srt?
Does subtitles work if you burn avi on cd/dvd media?

srt which is supported
exactly same avi filename with srt


when i burn it to a cd all works normaly
subtitles ok

ok i solved it


i had both avi and srt file together with some word files.

i put in a seperate folder avi with srt and now all ok
