I have a Dell 20.1 inch LCD Monitor 20" Monitor (2000FP) and it did not come with the power cord.
It is not the typicall power cord that crt monitors use, it is more like a power supply box with a cord
that plugs into the outlet and another cord coming from a box into the monitor.
My question is, is there a place taht they make a universal power cord for this monitor or do i need to by a specific one from Dell.

As always that for your time and effort

    http://cgi.ebay.com/19V-AC-power-adapter-for-Dell-2000FP-20-LCD-monitor_W0QQitemZ18018...QQcmdZViewItem

    7K713 or 5W440 ???

Both are listed. Both LOOK LIKE the same adapter. If you have the manual, Google the PN.

I've used Vance Baldwin in the past for hard to find parts; didn't see this adapter.

The one listed on ebay (first link) is the lowest price that I found - and has the round plug at the monitor end. I would look into the Dell recall on that power supply were it mine.
