I was just wondering If I could connect a S-Video PC to VCR S-Video and Capture to PC and make a DVD from it??

    How would I do this??

I am very new to this but I know my Computer has a S-Video and we have a Pioneer VHS/DVD Combo RAM Compatible with a S-Video on the back of it...

Could someone please explain which Programs could I use to Capture and how to do so...It would be appreciated.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum

Which way are you trying to go? You say pc to vcr to pc?

Is that saying you DON'T have a capture card on your computer? You have to have a capture card of some type on your computer if you want to record.

HOWEVER if you are talking about recording what is on your computer screen TO your computer you are better off using a screen capture program. Check out the tools section on the left of the screen for more about those.

If you want to record FROM your pc to your VCR then yes simply connect a svideo cable from the output from your pc to your INPUT jack on the vcr. Note you will probably need to activate tv out on your video cards control panel for a signal to be outputted. Though it may be on automatically. Of course if you want sound you will need to get headphone rca y splitter to split the output headphone jack from the pc to the red/white left/right rca input jacks on your vcr (or just use a mono combiner if your vcr is mono though I think if it is svideo it has to be stereo).

If your video card has VIVO (video-in video-out) then you can, if not then you need to install a capture card of some sort.
