    is it possible to increase the sound from a video? i just downloaded a video clip, however, the sound system is not loud enough, can i increase the sound? what should i do?

    Yes. BUT if you want more help you must give us more information. A video can be DVD, AVI, MKV, MP4, MOV, etc and it would also help to know what kind of audio codec like ac3, mp3, wav pcm, etc. You can identify the audio codec in a video file with mediainfo.

    I guess it would be easiest with Windows Movie Maker, see http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/learnmore/addmusic.mspx (scroll down a bit for the how to increase the volume).
