I've been using VCD EASY for awhile now and I've never had any problems. Except I can't figure out how to use chapters. I know where the option is and have tried it everytime, but my VCD's never end up with chapters. Do I need to burn a SVCD instead of a VCD? Could someone please help me out! You'll be my best bud.

Have you tried following my guide ? it also covers Chapters in TSCV and VCDEasy, as I only do VCD's, i know it works with both programs.

hey man...I'll tell u an easy way to make chapters.....go down to morpheus and download the full version of ulead movie factory..this program is litterally idiot proff....it's the best out there....it makes great chapters with amazing backgrounds and u can even add music to the background....get that instead of vcd easy.if had vcd easy before and ulead movie factory is way better..even better than nero

I agree with ibadk and I can say more: Ulead DVD Movie Factory let you author (X)VCD and (X)SVCD.
Works fine for me.

morpheus is like napster....u go to download.com and get it.the name is morpheus.....it's a peepr to peer server..it's very easy to use....u can get anything from it...

mvicks21, now i'm confused, which type of Chapters are you looking for ? in a Menu sort of way or True Chapters when pressing the Next/Prev on the Remote Control ?

Cause last I recall Ulead makes Menus, not Chapters in the MPG file. (although I can be wrong, so don't shoot me)

For VCDEasy make sure that you check the 'enable PBC' button (for some off reason the default is unchecked). Personally I like TSCV as I have more options, but for just simple chapeters (aka entrypoints) VCDEasy should work.

Get out the manual for your DVD player and have a read. There should be something in it under VCD playback on turning on and off PBC. Generally, most DVD players will automatically have PBC interpretation ON by default so it shouldn't matter.

As for making VCDs with chapters, I highly recommend you follow Sefy's guide with VCD Easy so that you get some quick and easy success.

Once you've gotten your foothold, I suggest you start trying TSCV (another VCDImager GUI but more powerful) or using VCDImager manually.
