Saving U Tube Vids

Hi

i learned some time ago that you
got the url of the vid

then went here

http://video.qooqle.jp/dl/

posted it and d loaded the vid as flv

however that was some time ago and now

everytime I go to http://video.qooqle.jp/dl/

it says closed for maintenance.


Is there any other way of doing it ?
maybe things have moved on since my last attempts

@DundeeDave : I'm sure you are happy about this program, but there is no need to yell (Typing in all capitals is considered yelling, and poor form).

@Skybird : for YouTube and Google (and many others) the simplest solution is firefox and the Unplug add-on. However if you look at the stickies at the top of this forum you will find one that addresses exactly this problem, and offers many different solutions.
