I been using DVD2AVI and TMPGEnc to create some great quality VCDs, I found that when I use DVD2AVI on vob files with a mono soundtrack I get a kinda hissing noise on the wave file created I am guessing this is because DVD2AVI is creating a stereo wave file from and mono soundtrack and the channels are overlapping or something. Is there a way of extracting the soundtrack to a mono wave file, as DVD2AVI doesn't seem to have the option to do so. Will this mono wave file create any other problems when creating the MPEG.
All helps appreciated, Thanks
Harry
