From being a total newb, I've learned to frameserve avisynth to Hcenc and preview in Vdubmod, but I'm stuck on the audio. I want to take the 6ch wav file and resample to 50000 but keep the header at 48000. I can do that with 6 mono wavs but I can't tell which channel goes where. Is there a free ac3 to wav tool that includes that info in the file names (like LF RF C etc) so I know where to drop them in Aften? Is there any audio editors that open a 5.1 file resample then save in the same format? I got ac3acm installed but I can't select all wavs to save at once, just export a multichannel wave option and ac3am doesn't come up in that dialog box.

I think I found it. When I open the wave in Audition it numbers them, but it displays in this order: 1,6,5,4,3,2. In numerical order, it looks like it follows this order: WAV: FL FR FC LFE RL RR. Last edited by PAL sucks; 25th Feb 2011 at 00:41.
