    Is there any software that will transcribe Audio to Text?

    There is speech recognition software, but you need to train it first and it's reliability reduces quickly if there is background noise on the recording. If it is clear speech and nothing else you might find something. I haven't kept up with speech/voice recognition because I have no practical use for it, however the products that used be around included DragonDictate. Just google for speech recognition and see what you get.

    I have to sub title a 2 hour interview of a guy with a strong Iraqi accent.
    So from what you say theres not really any other option than wading through it with a touch typist?

    I'd give at least a trial version of Dragon or similar at try at it. It would seem to be a lot easier to proof read and correct a written file than transcribe the whole thing by ear. (Unless you can do shorthand. )

    If it doesn't work, then you may have to do it the hard way.
