Hi i am looking for a all round card for TV recording, I want to lose my aging VCR.
I have been using my old Elsa Erazor III TiVo card but am thinking of getting the 8500DV.
Do you recommend the 8500DV or getting a Geforce 3 like the ASUS V8200 Deluxe be better.
How are the drivers becuaes i used to have A ATI RAGE IIc and the drivers sucked big time and still waiting for them to update them and how does it work with WinME, 2000 and XP ?
thanks

The 8500DV is a way better choice compared to the GF3: 3D performance is similar, but the 8500DV has much better multimedia capabilities and recording software.
I have no problems with the drivers yet, but I'm also running on a stable platform (P4-478 on 845) -
On my old ATI RageIIc i had a problem with most games being pink or corrupted.
Does the 8500DV has that probelms ?
Examples : Need for Speed 5
NHL2000
