relatively inexperienced users question - while encoding and uploading some basketball games, some of the dvd's have only one VOB file. this results in only a few min. of the entire game to be uploaded (instead of the normal 40-48 min). the "problem" dvds play normally (and in their entirety) on stand alone dvd players and my computers. am i facing some different type of file formats or are there possibly hidden files?

Are you uploading vobs? or are you converting? what tools ? where are you uploading? Please give us the exact details what you are doing.

Try use vob2mpg on the dvd and you get ONE mpg that you can convert or upload.

Thanks for the reply. I'm encoding the vob files into mpeg files with SUPER. I then use google video uploader. The process works fine - it's just that three games (three separate dvds) in the last week have had this same characteristic. It results in only a short segment of the game being uploaded.
