I have an Xvid AVI file which has black border on both sides. Is there some way I can measure how wide the border is (in pixel)?
Thanks!

There may be a easier way, but load it into Virtualdub, add the 'Null transform' filter, then select the 'Cropping' button that's now available. Run the cropping in till it matches the cropping on your video and read off the pixel amount. You can use VD Mod for MPEG or other formats. Then just exit the program.
