i have 3 computers plus the PS3 connected to my router. 2 computers are wireless and the ps3 and 3rd computer are wired. the computer that i use as my fileserver(wireless) has the activity light constantly blinking compared to the other wireless computer and i think that might be the problem i have when playing cod4 on the ps3. my connection is in the red. when i turned the wireless adapter off last night to the fileserver, the connection went to 3 green bars. So my question is, how can i find out why its doing so much activity? i have them networked all together.

if you use start/run/cmd/netstat -b it will report all active connections. but for a more complete picture of what is going on i use x-netstat professional. not free but has a 30 free trial. --

Sounds like the fileserver is using the internet connection. This could be something you are running like a P2P app(bittorrent, emule, etc.) or spam/malware. If it's a P2P app, try reducing the upload limit. Google is your Friend
