    Hi, for some reason my DVD-recorder (Pioneer DVR-530H) refuses to play DVD-R/RWs that I have copied and burned with Nero. The same discs can be played without any problems on my DVD-player (Pioneer DV-454). I have used the DVD-Copy option to burn an already mounted image as well as the DVD-Video option, both with the same results.
    I have used TDK media.

    Have you tried a different media? It's possible the 530H doesn't like that brand/type of media.

    Will it play any recorderable media? It's possible the laser is aging (less powerful) and can no longer read recordable media.
