I don't know what is happening. On computer, everything looks and sounds perfect. But on a dvd player and/or ps2 the sound is muddled close to non-existent. The movie is transformers- The cartoon. I edited for a brighter pict. All editing, conversion and burning done with avs video editor. Question. when setting up figures for the burn, should I use the exact figures from Gspot? I'm trying to determine how I messed that up. It does'nt sound like it's going to fast or to slow. What it does sound like is a tape not getting a good contact. Comparable to that anyway. My system consists of MSI K7 mainboard(KT3 Ultra2-R) w/ Athlon XP1800, 20gig and 80gig HD, 256 ram( i know I'm short guys), Sis315E,Maddog CD-R/DVD-R, and running OS XP PRO w/ SP1. According to Gspot, the final figures for the DVD were.. Video-mpeg2, kbps 2149, frames/s 29.970 Audio-mpeg1layer2, 48000hz, 224kb/s,stereo. Hope this helps in helping me.

If you have a working sound track in the original file, demux this and use it for the finished file. Only re-encode the video, then author the original audio back.
