    Can anyone else please confirm with this is working when choosing DVD ffmpeg and then adding left and right letterboxing to a source avi file? Top and bottom letterboxing is added to the resulting file but not left and right.

    If you want left and right padding,
    then have Decode with Quicktime deselected,
    and encode to a width that has the padding subtracted,
    e.g. 720 minus left padding minus right padding.
    See last pointer on the Filters page.

    Works for me.
