I hope someone can solve this.
When I open MPC it goes to the default size I had it at when I closed it, but when I then open a file using "quick open" or "open", it defaults to a small 3" x 3" screen.
Is this the norm or is there a way to have it open at a previous set size?

Under View > Options > Player, do you have the Remember last window position/size boxes checked? Also, you might experiment with the Auto-zoom option under Options > Playback, Output section. I usually have it set to 100%, but you may prefer to have it disabled, or set to something else.
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
