Hello, I was wondering if anyone had codes to make Sony SLV-D271P & Philips DCP850/37 region free. My region free DVD player recently broke and I can no longer watch my Japanese Region 2 DVDs. I've been looking everywhere for codes for these DVD players. Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thank You

An easy one (I tried and it works)

    Without a disk inserted:
    press setup
    go to the prefernces page.
    type 9 6 5 3
    select region (0 for allregions)
    press ok
    and you are welcome!
    cheers

Well got information from above website, maybe this will help.

Most Sony (and JVC) players are not hackable using simple codes.
