    Is it possible to unlock a Sony DVD player (SLV-D360P) to make it region free?

    Not likely. Sony very rarely has hacks to make their players region free. If you want that option, try a different brand player.

    As far as I know there aren't any Sony or Samsung DVD or BluRay players currently sold in the USA and Canada that can be unlocked.
