If you demux subtitle with Dvd Decrypter it generates a file with extension *.sub.
It is not a text file.
What format is this file?
Is there a viewer for this file to view subtitles inside?
Can any DVD authoring program use this file?

It is a ".sub" file. It is subtitles in bitmaps.

Some authoring progs can use this, some can't.

Most subtitle viewers can view this format. Some can't.

To determine which are which, read the descriptions for the various progs in the Tools section.

While you are on that reading kick, keep going. Lots more goodies there and in the Guides section.
