Hello!
I have come to you after searching and searching in the internet without finding an answer for my doubts.
I live in Germany. I have a digital cable TV receiver which has a slot for a card.
One question: Is it possible with this kind of receiver --and the adequate hardware and software-- to get paid encoded channels, in the same way that people with sat receivers do?
If it is so.....
--What's the hardware I need?
--What software?
--What kind of card?
--Where to find the needed keys to update the card?
In case you couldn't put an answer here in this forum, could you at least leave me a couple of links where I could find answers to my questions (not forgetting that I am in Germany)?
(Or a private message could be also)
In advance, thank you very much to any of you who could help me with that.
Best regards.

Contact your local sattelite or cable provider for information.
If you are talking about messing with the card to get free cable service, that is illegal (yes, even in Germany). -
OK....I'll do that indeed. I didn't know that they could help me with that.
Thank you very much for your help!
