Hi all, I downloaded the free movisuite but it wouldn't allow you to actually convert the files from a dvd that I recorded from my standalone dvd recorder. I am looking for software that would allow me to conver the clips on a dvd that I recorded myself from stuff off of tv so that i can upload it to youtube.

It's a dvd that I recorded of off my tv with my stand alone Phillips DVDR 3390. It's stuff from tv like news reports and commercials and some music vids. It's in the 2 hr mode and contains about 25 or so clips ranging from 3-8 minutes long.

I got a link to get movisuite. That seemed easiet but they apparently only let you download for free to show you how it is. But it does not allow you to convert the files though, you have to purchase it, for $79.

Youtube Will do the conversion for you. Just make sure your files aren't larger than 100MB. Use an app like AutoGK to create a 100MB Divx file from your Video_ts folder and upload that for youtube to convert to crappy lowbit flv.
