Good Morning Everyone!
I own a panasonic wj-hd316 digital video recorder. This DVR when downloading a file to PC does so in a .h3r file. I am curious if anyone know of anyone to convert this file to anything that I can burn to a DVD.
Any help would be sincerely appreciated!
Thank you,
Tom

H3R is a very high-compression, tamper-proof proprietary format -- there is no way to systematically convert the video to a more open standard format.
Two options:
1) Distribute the video files with the complimentary viewer.exe file, used to view the h3r files.
2) or, record your screen or portion thereof, of the video playing in the h3r viewer, with a Screen Recorder into a more open video format standard. Then, with that new video file, record that to DVD. -
James:
Sorry to butt in here, but where can I download a copy of the viewer.exe program please?
Thanks,
Jim
