VirtualDub has a "Squish Luminance" option off the Video menu while in capture mode. I tried it and liked it. What exactly does it do? Is this the thing where TV luminance ranges are from 8-235 (or something like that) and VirtualDub modifies luminance values to fit in that range? Does anyone know for sure?
