I'm using ATI AIW Pro 128 32MB graphic card and MCC 6.3. I connect my Sony HandyCam (analog vedio camcorder) using composit cable. I can play and record both video and audio. When I run VirtualDub 1.4.8, click Capture AVI menu item to display capture mod window, then play my camcorder, the capture mode window displays the video, but no sound. If I start capture a piece of video to an AVI file, the AVI file can be played in MediaPlayer, but no sound.
When I play and record my video, the Mute checkbox in all playback volume are uncheck and the slider is set to maximum, the Line In volume in Recording volume is selected.
Does any one have idea how to solve the problem?
Thanks

I faced the similar problem with VirtualDub 1.4.8. It gives me some sort of error "Audio not captured, Check Sound card" and some message with "AVIOutput()" on it .
Earlier VirtualDub versions captured without any problems.
AVI_IO captures without any problems.
Any one else facing a similar problem with VirtualDub 1.4.8?
