    I'm still a newbie with the stuff!
    I want to extract hardsubs from .avi files, namely from Anime Naruto English Subbed episodes!
    How can I do? Please help me with tuts!
    I've already tried VOBSUB and VirtualDubMod with the filter Sublog Extractor but no success

    Already tried the tool AVISubDetector, It also did not detec the subs ! Any ideas please?:SOS

    You could try filtering the video first to make the subs more pronounced. Otherwise other than SubRip, I think you have tried everything.

    I dont think its possible to extract hardsubs as they are part of the picture and not a separate stream.
