Hey Guys!
Now you guys have helped me before with my guitar stuff which is why i need your help again!
I've just got myself a new Marshall AVT275X Guitar Amp and im having big problems with the settings, basically im trying to get it to sound similar to the music i listen to,
The music im trying to play is bands like Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Green Day, think you get the idea!
I was wondering if you could advise me on settings or even point me in the right direction because to be honest i don't really have a clue!
Thanks!

I don't know for sure, but you might look into whether or not some of those guys used distortion boxes or other devises before the sound even gets to the amp.
IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT? -
the amp does have some preset effects on it but im havin trouble with setting like the Gain, Mid, treble, bass distrotion etc.
I do have the following pedals, Zoom 606, Yamaha MagicStomp and a CryBaby Classic -
marshall amps are built to sound beautiful and basically, you wont get that shitty sound you're looking for without effects pedals. your zoom pedal should be able to come close though.. it looks like you can program the sounds, right? just create a preset for each different sound you're trying to create. use google! often times you can find "band faq's" that fans create and they will list equipment used. from there, try and recreate the sounds with your zoom.
I am just a worthless liar,
I am just an imbecil -
i go to http://www.harmony-central.com/ forum for my amp questions.
LITEON man! -
I agree with what ToolFool mentioned.
With your zoom 606, you should be able to get pretty darn close to the sound of most people.
I dont know of any sites (other than the ones mentioned), but I wouldnt use em anyway. Thats part of the fun. Just try stuff out. Add an effect, change the settings, add another effect, change the settings. Play with it and go nuts. With 35 effects and 9 simultaniously, there is a WORLD of possibilities my friend.
Have at 'er. -
Do yourself a favor and learn how to play and sound good without all the effects before you go nuts trying to sound like your heros. You've got a good amp, you really don't need all that other shit.

Advise use Headphones .
