Many times when using DVDShrink I see multiple audio tracks that all say AC32-ch English (screenshot attached with 3 english and 1 french). Is there any way to figure out what these are? I'd like to just not back them up if they are extra and not needed but I don't want to cripple my DVD by removing something I need.
I'm using Reauthor mode and just dragging over the Main Title and just want to delete anything that I don't really need for the movie itself to play and sound good.
Thanks.

Commentary track most likely.
Do a right click in the preview window and play that audio
and see/hear for yourself. -

The first 2-CH track seemed to be the same as the 5.1 just without surround I guess
Second one was in french
3rd and 4th were commentaries by two different people. -
Shrink can not handle new encryptions, rip the movie to your hard drive with Fab decrypter first, then use shrink to compress them.

CAN easily handle the disc in question.
Start a new thread if you need to bring up something
that does not pertain to the original post. -
@hech54. You are right, my answer has nothing to do with the original post, for some reason, maybe i read too fast or something, i thought it was about the main movie being broken into multiple video tracks which does have to do with shrink not being able to handle new encryptions. my mistake but, do you thing that that is enough reason to answer like you did, using "WTF" was totally uncalled for, i hope the mods throw you out for being such a low life. i'll try to report you, you garbage.

@guns1inger. So to be thrown out should be based on the number of posts, not on behavior? having thousands of posts gives him the OK to be a upper thigh hole? you most be of his kind. I won't hope he gets thrown out.

Lighten up Babeflover were all adults here. I think your over reacting over someone using WTF. How is this offensive?

@kelemvor, you can also find and view the 'audio menu' that will show exactly what each audio track is. in your example you may see something like:
5.1 dolby
2 ch. dolby
2 ch. french
commentary by xxxxx on/off
commentary by xxxxx on/offI am just a worthless liar,

The first file is the largest and ,more often than not, the correct one. I have had this happen to me many times and the above works. Also, testing them as alluded to above should be done-in addition.

I got no problem putting my hand up to that , I blew a plug once .
I dont like the useage of such abbreviations either , but we face them all the time online where ever we are , and nothing is done about it .
Especially the good old one that refers users to read the manual - rtfm , which has not appeared in some time .
Must be a few others around .
