I'm totally lost. I have a mini dvd-r disc from a digital camcorder. Its from a wedding and the person that recorded it has chapters on the disc...

Basically, what i'm looking to do is take the disc and be able to edit it and burn to a DVD disc to play on a dvd player for the TV. I'm not a total noob but when it comes to this mini dvd-r discs... i have no idea how to edit and burn them to a normal size DvD.

I thank anyone in advance who can offer help.

You can type in search box something like "Dvd edit" and you will find a lots of information. What helped me personaly in this case Womble MPEG VCR. They give you 30 day free trial. You can edit your work and burn with your burning software.

I second the use of MPEGVCR. With the ability to try before you buy, you can't go wrong. I do want to tell you that while editing is easy with this software, for best results you should mark beginning and ending points on video you want to keep, save those one at a time to a clipboard, and then join them together into a new file. If instead you try to remove the video you don't want from a clip and keep the rest, the results are sometimes less than optimal. Sound sync problems can result from this method.
The onscreen documentation that comes with MPEGVCR is very good and you will barely have to read any of it to get going with the program. Just a few short minutes of reading, or maybe less, to figure out how to mark starting and ending points, save to a clipboard, and then put back together and you'll be good to go. The program is very intuitive and easy to learn to use.

VideoReDo is a similar product that you can try before you buy. You should use a similar method with it of marking starting and ending points of what you want to keep and joining those into a new file for best results.

TDA will open it right up - and allow editing.

If you didn't want to change anything - rip in iso mode with decryptor and burn it to DVD-R
