I got a Sony handycam DCR DVD 108 model and I had placed a new DVD+RW CD , formatted with the handycam and recorded 30min of video. It warned me for the last 7 min, saying only last 7 min is left for recording. Now I try to play this in the handycam, it does not recognise the CD and says FORMAT NOW? , if I place the CD in the computer, it shows blank. Can I retrieve the recorded stuff, as I could see the burned mark on the DVD? is there any way ? please let me know

These kind of issues led me to dump my DVD camcorder!

Can you finalize the disk in the camera?

If not, you might try isobuster. It helped save some of my bad camcorder disks. Assuming there is something on your disk to save, it could take a while to run (a couple of days in my case).
