I need to patch the Bt8x8 driver 'btwincap' to replace KeQueryPerformanceCounter() calls with
rdtsc (or some other timer) calls due to a well-known but under-documented bug in how NT
derived Windows O/S handles a chipset bug. The build environment required an Intel
optimizing compiler and MS Visual Studio (see the readme files in the 'btwincap' source).
Would someone who has this environment be willing to do some builds, please?
Regards,
Michael

It turns out that the driver can (and is better) built using only the Win2003 DDK, a downloadable
iso of which is available on an msdn website.

I will begin a new thread with some specific questions.
