  1. Does anybody know how can I add titles to a video using VirtualDub?

    As far as I know virtualdub does not allow individual frame editing by putting title overlays like you might think a dvd authoring application does for a menu system.

    you could set up a still frame in ms paint and then add that as a seperate frame and append it to your video.

    or you could add subtitles to the video.

    For more editing options that add to the video you might need another application besides virtualdub.

    Although you could also add a logo to the video. There are multiple plugins for that as well.

    Perhaps a more direct example of what you want to accomplish would help us steer you in the right direction.

  4. Just create a subtitle and add it in. If it's to be permanent, you'll have to reencode. Here's a short guide that uses SSA subs and SubStation Alpha to create the subs, which is also how I would do it:
