    What is the best way to download youtube videos pls? I have downloaded one using youtubex.com but it is in .FLV format.

    Yes, it is. That's because that is the format YouTube uses. If you look at the stickies at the top of this forum, and the newbie conversion forum, you will find posts on downloading and converting youtube video.
