re-encode the file? I already have a DIVX file and want to edit out a segment, but I really dont want to re-encode.

 with a little faffing about you should be able to chop it losslessly to the nearest keyframe, then make it frame-perfect with a minimum of re-encoding (just the frames following the cut up to the next keyframe, and maybe the B-frame before the cut if there is one)-= She sez there's ants in the carpet, dirty little monsters! =-
 Back after a long time away, mainly because I now need to start making up vidcapped DVDRs for work and I haven't a clue where to start any more!
