Hi there,
Whenever I make a DVD with SVCD2DVD the finished DVD usually plays fine for a while but then after a while it starts to skip and pop and this happens with all the DVD's I make.
Is their anything I should try to do when making a DVD.
FYI my computer is a 2ghz with 1GB of RAM and 12GB of free space.
RGDS & TIA

Could be a media compatability issue with either the burner or player. Could be an issue with burning speed. Have you tried other media? Is this with software or stand alone players? Have you tried the burned DVD's in other players?
What can you tell us about your burner, media and method?Dwight

1. Burn speed - as stated
2. Media - as stated; are you using crappy media?
3. Label - do you use stick on labels?
4. Player - as stated, check the discs on another player.
Use the golden rule of burning: As you're using Imgburn, I seriously doubt there's a problem with the burning engine - unless you have a virus or something loading up while burning and making one (you may want to close down any running programs during a burn) - burn media at one-half it's rated speed, or one-half the burner's rated speed; whichever is lower, never set it to MAX as you'll invite problems.
Many of us forget this isn't a race. The only people who should worry about getting the disc burned at 16X are likely worried about a crew busting down the door for a raid. We do have to watch the finished DVD in the future, eh?;/ l ,[____], Its a Jeep thing,

Try it on the PC and at least 2 other players. Try burning to DVD-R or DVD+R media (TY or Verbatim, something of unquestioned quality). Use half the rated burn speed as classfour suggests above. All of these are needed to properly troubleshoot. Your burner's website should have a compatible media list as well as videohelp having reported info on your particular player, I would look at those too.

Issues with ImgBurn should be taken up with the author or in a more appropriate area of the forum (you'll be more likely to get relevant help there).
That being said, can you post a screenshot showing the contents of the target folder? Have you tried a reinstall?Dwight

Can you burn anything with ImgBurn? If you go mode->build and then add a file to burn - does it work?
