Getting sound from Home Cinema to your Tv

I need some help recently i brought a Sony KDL32V2500U(http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/content/products/details/index~modelcode~SON-KDL32V2500U.htm) Bravia HD TV and a Sony DAV-DZ230(http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-DAV-DZ230-Cinema-System-Theatre/dp/B000NVWCTS) Home Cinema
i have a standard Sky Digi Box and want the sound from sky programmes outputted through my home cinema player i have a manual that explains this but i still cant get my head around it.
i think i need a scart cable from my home cinema player going to my tv but havent tried it yet.
Can anybody shed some light on this issue?

do you have an amplifier with it?

if so you just need to put the sky box through one of the channels on the amplifier.

OR/

if you plug the sky into the TV as normal then put the Speakers on the Audio out and turn the sound on the Tv right down as this is a poorer quality (instead of the audio out you could just put it on the headphones then you dont have to worry about the TV sound level.

To get a perfect setup itll take some time (i have a home cinema myself) if you want to get the timing right so that the soundwaves from all the speakers reaches you at the same time.

Note that it doesnt matter where you put a subwoofer as the human ear cannot tell the direction lower soundwaves are coming from.
