hi have had this recorder for 2 years now and it has suddenly stopped reading dvds,...
i decided to have a look under the hood to see if if there was anyderis on the lens but nothin....the reason im writing this post ...the dvd drive in the goodmans recorder is a ricoh dvd writer ....which looks the same as any dvd rewriter in a pc ...
silly question to anyone out there.....could i replace the drive with another standard pc dvd rewriter which is used is a pc??
can anyone help me this ...thank you![]()

It works for some models. And you will likely have to replace it with the exact same brand and model.
